Description:A smorgasbord of intimate deviance is on display in this Mondo-styled mockmentary from the golden age of sexploitation. The Lusting Hours is presented as an exposé of “sex for purchase,” and how it’s peddled in its many forms. The movies swings back and forth between rural brothels, where honestly unsophisticated neighborhood girls offer satisfaction to farmers and small-town entrepreneurs; big town streetwalkers, who offer pleasure for pay to the dregs of culture; male hustlers, who will dally with either men or women for the right paycheck; pornographers, who go from snapping cheesecake photos for fun to documenting increasingly kinky activities to help their voyeuristic habit; and sophisticated telephone call girls whose supposedly glamorous life is at chances with the cost and dangers of the flesh trade. Shot in stark black-and-white, The Lusting Hours includes appearances from sexploitation icons Michael and Roberta Findlay, under their aliases Julian Marsh and Anna Riva.
